How to make colourful
homemade candles
homemade candles
Materials:Wax,Wicks(one for every candle you make), crayons(any colour you prefer),popsicle stick(to stir),a paper cup and a glass
Firstly The first step is to peel the paper off your crayons. You can either use a knife or soak the crayons in water for easy peeling.
Secondly, fill a paper cup with wax and microwave for 1 minute. Give it a stir and microwave again in 30-second intervals until wax is completely melted.
Thirdly, pour a thin layer of wax into the bottom of each glass and place the wick in the center leave it to harden for a while.
Fourthly using one crayon per colour, fill a paper cup with wax and top with a broken up crayon. Microwave for 2 minutes and then in 30 second intervals until completely liquid. Let cool for 30 seconds or so and pour coloured wax into the glass. Let the first layer dry for 20-30 minutes.
Fifthly repeat step four until colours are up to the top of the glass remember to let them dry in between layers.
Sixthly light and enjoy!
